Individual Counselling Online Across Australia

Individual counselling offers dedicated space to explore the experiences, relationships, losses, and life circumstances that may be influencing how you feel, relate, cope, and respond today.

My approach integrates trauma informed counselling, somatic therapy, attachment aware practice, and psychodynamic understanding. Together, we explore both the stories you carry and the ways those experiences may continue to be expressed emotionally, relationally, and physically.

Therapy is not about becoming someone different. At New Leaf with Nisha, therapy provides possbilities to develop a different relationship with yourself, your experiences, and the patterns that may no longer serve you.

I Commonly Support Clients With:

• relational trauma, attachment wounds, and difficult relationship patterns

• people pleasing, self abandonment, and patterns of over responsibility

• emotional caregiving, parentification, and feeling responsible for everyone else's needs

• being highly capable while privately exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself

• grief and loss, including disenfranchised, intergenerational, and reproductive grief

• fertility experiences, IVF, pregnancy loss, and involuntary childlessness

• workplace stress, perfectionism, burnout, and emotional exhaustion

• life transitions, identity shifts, migration experiences, and cultural expectations

• loneliness, belonging, and cultivating meaningful connection

Understanding Patterns Beyond Insight

The ways we relate to ourselves and others do not develop in isolation. Relationships, family systems, culture, loss, significant life experiences, and the roles we have learned to occupy can all shape how we respond to challenge, connection, conflict, uncertainty, and care.

Individual counselling at New Leaf with Nisha provides a collaborative space to explore these influences and the patterns that may have emerged in response to them.

Rather than viewing these patterns as problems to eliminate, our work begins with understanding how they developed, what purpose they may have served, and the contexts in which they first became necessary. This perspective seeks to understand before judging, labelling, or pathologising.
